ALL CPA FIRMS WITH FIRM PERMITS TO PRACTICE SUBJECT TO RENEWAL ON OR BEFORE DECEMBER 31, 2015
AS OF 4:00 P.M. ON DECEMBER 18, 2015, ONLINE RENEWAL IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE!
IF YOU DID NOT RENEW YOUR FIRM PERMIT TO PRACTICE BEFORE 4:00 P.M. ON DECEMBER 18, 2015, YOU MUST RENEW WITH A HARD COPY FORM!
The online Firm Permit to Practice (“FPTP”) renewal process has encountered technical difficulties that will NOT allow CPA firms to complete the online FPTP renewal by the December 31, 2015 deadline.
Because these technical difficulties will not be resolved in sufficient time for CPA firms to renew their FPTPs by December 31, 2015, the Board of Public Accountancy (“Board”) has extended the deadline to file a FPTP renewal application to January 31, 2016. To renew after December 18, 2015 at 4:00 P.M., CPA firms must utilize the HARD COPY RENEWAL APPLICATION FORM.
Note: If you already renewed prior to 4:00 P.M. on December 18, 2015, you do not need to do anything else.

If you are reading this announcement from an email from your association or other source, please go to the Board’s website at cca.hawaii.gov/pvl/boards/accountancy to download the FPTP renewal form. You will need to select either the “Sole Owner” or “Entity” Renewal Application. Complete the form and submit it with applicable renewal fees to the Board as follows:

The DEADLINE to submit your CPA FPTP renewal is January 31, 2016. A postmark date of January 31, 2016 will be honored as a timely filing.
