Job Description
SI GROUP is a locally-owned third party administration firm that provides retirement plan consulting and administration services for approximately 800 qualified retirement plans covering 18,000+ participants. We strive to provide superior consulting and administration services to our clients. We are looking for a highly-motivated, organized individual with a strong work ethic, who is able to work independently in a complex, technical environment to join our team of plan administrators. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: - Performing all facets of annual administration and compliance testing and reporting (including preparation of Form 5500) for a pool of defined contribution plans (e.g., 401(k), profit-sharing). - Analyzing employer data and calculating employer contributions within the parameters set by the Internal Revenue Code. - Assisting plan sponsor's personnel with administration issues as they arise. QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelor's Degree required - Minimum 2-3 years of accounting-related experience - Experience interpreting and applying IRS or other governmental regulations helpful, but not required - Proficiency in Excel and MS Word required We offer a competitive salary, flexible work schedule, and generous employee benefits (e.g., comprehensive health insurance, paid time off, etc.).
