Manager, Accounting (QHS Controller Admin) Job ID: 111246 Location: Queen's Medical Center - Honolulu JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES: * Plans, directs, and manages the administration and maintenance of functions/activities of the Accounting department. Implements, monitors and coordinates accounting practices to ensure accurate and reliable data and internal control procedures to safeguard the assets of The Queen's Health Systems and affiliates. Designs accounting systems to meet goals of management and regulatory requirements. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION AND LICENSURE: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting; and * Certified Public Accountant inactive or expired status (active status highly desirable). EXPERIENCE: * Five (5) years experience in Accounting, of which 2 years must be in public accounting. * Three (3) years experience in key leadership roles and/or supervisory experience.
