Job Description
KMH LLP (KMH) seeks an Experienced Staff to join KMH Solutions. KMH Solutions provides a variety of professional Accounting and Consulting services to Hawaii-based organizations. Services include Accounting Support, Litigation Consulting, Business Process Improvement, Risk Management Consulting, and Internal Audit Support. Candidates should possess the following technical skills: • Strong grasp of practical accounting, including familiarity with GAAP and Tax. • Understanding of business processes and flowcharting. • Familiarity with internal control structures, including knowledge of COSO. • Knowledge of auditing processes and methodologies. General Requirements: • Ability to review, document, evaluate and test internal controls in a wide range of environments. • Solid written communication skills, including documentation of findings and recommendations. • Strong interpersonal skills to interact in a team environment and foster client relationships. • Solid problem solving, analytical, project management and decision making skills. • Ability to work independently, exhibiting excellent time management skills, as well as part of a team. • Detail-oriented with the ability to be flexible and adapt quickly to change. • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite applications. • Familiarity with QuickBooks or other accounting software preferred. • Must be willing and able to travel up to 10% of the time. Years of Experience Required: Minimum two years’ experience in public or private accounting. Education Required: • 24 semester hours of accounting classes or commensurate experience required • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting preferred
